1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InstaDesk ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

InstaDesk is a web-based dashboard that allows owners of Instagram Business and Creator accounts to connect their accounts via the Instagram Graph API and view, search, archive, and respond to their Direct Messages through a unified interface.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Instagram Business or Creator account to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your InstaDesk account credentials
• You must only connect Instagram accounts that you own or are authorized to manage
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

5. Permitted Use

You may use InstaDesk to:

• View and manage Direct Messages from your own Instagram accounts
• Reply to messages on behalf of accounts you own or administer
• Archive conversations for record-keeping purposes
• Invite team members to help manage accounts you control

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use InstaDesk to:

• Access Instagram accounts you do not own or have authorization to manage
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or violate Instagram's Community Guidelines
• Automate messages in ways that violate Meta's Platform Terms
• Scrape, harvest, or export user data beyond what is displayed in the dashboard
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

7. Instagram / Meta Platform Compliance

Your use of InstaDesk is subject to Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram's Community Guidelines. You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates those terms. We may suspend your access if your use endangers our app's compliance with Meta's policies.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep InstaDesk available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, Instagram API changes, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that data will never be lost, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. Use at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstaDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruption.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
